Out of the Box Pantry
Out of the Box Pantry is the sister website to the award-winning SoCal home delivery service Out of the Box Collective, which has been delivering locally sourced foods accompanied by recipes and meal plans to households across the region for over five years.
Out of the Box Collective was one of the first companies, nationally, to focus on sourcing foods from all the food groups, and supporting customers in the kitchen, and is also a certified B-Corp, honored in 2015 and 2016 as Best for the World in the category of Community, as well as winning the B Corp award from the Sustainable Business Council of Los Angeles.
With Out of the Box Pantry we aim to support small scale growers and makers, by introducing their products to customers living outside of SoCal. With the failure of large supermarkets to provide clean, safe food, and the preponderance of meal kits which assume households have no pantry items whatsoever, we aim to make it simple for a household to develop a well-stocked pantry of amazing foods that will complement the fresh, local produce that we hope our customers buy every week to support their local growers.

Founder of Out of the Box Collective AKA LA's "hottest Farm to Door Delivery Service", Jennifer is committed to creating a sustainable local food distribution system for her community, increasingly convinced of the fundamental role that our food systems play in the environment, our health, our family life, and our community. Now, with the creation of Out of the Box Pantry, Jennifer is taking more steps to build on the New Food Economy, and create a model where customers outside of SoCal can be treated to the amazing foods that she has gotten to know foraging in California these past several years.
Kimberly Albright has been involved with the culinary world and eating seasonally from an early age as child growing up in upstate New York. After college she worked at an organic lettuce farm on Martha’s Vineyard. She began her career with Whole Foods Market in 1991 and in 2010 became the local urban forager for the Los Angeles metro area. Her love of discovering new local artisan producers and working with local farmers continues to expand her determination to bring the highest quality products to our local communities
